This review is for Butterfly Twist Latch and Keeper, Qty. 4, Black, at a price of $12.89.I obtained these to use for a custom plywood storage crate. This kit consists of a set of four butterfly twist latches and keepers, and a package of wood screws. The latch construction appears to be durable and good quality, and the black finish is nice looking and consistent. The included screws seem a bit small, but they should work for most situations.Since I was not ready to permanently install these, I tested these by attaching them to an adjacent pair of 1x4 common boards, configured so that these will latch the boards together and allow me to verify the latch/keeper connections. These seem to work fine, although they are not the type of butterfly latches that have an integrated spring, so the placement of the keeper needs to be very precise.Overall, I am satisfied with these, and they should work fine for my application, although for added durability I will likely use machine screws with washers and lock nuts instead of the included wood screws.

These are good latches. They allow you to snug down the load as it shuts. I am using to secure wood trailer sides so they are snug during transit and it works well for this function. fit and finish is good and they seem durable. I think these are good value.
