It is a heavy duty shelving pins for shelves intended for holding lots of weight. I made pig shelves (24"x24"), and used four of these pins in a custom pantry, and no problem at all. It is good stuffs.

One of the plastic ones in our kitchen cabinet broke. I knew I had some brass ones in my workshop. Tore the place apart looking for them to no avail. I bought these and they fit perfectly. The next day I was working on an unrelated project and found the ones I knew I had but couldn't previously find. Story of my life LOL!!

Okay so theyre not terrible, but the end of the psrt that goes inside is not a clean cut. Its more rounded on the end so it doesnt stay in perfectly. I much prefer the ones i paid for at the hardware store.

I am building some shelves and decided to use this type of shelf hanger to allow for some adjust in shelf height, ordered this style based on my build style. The shelf pins meet my need perfectly and cost a small percentage of what the big box stores were charging. Very happy with my purchase and results.

I painted the cabinets in laundry room and in my linin cabinet. When I removed the shelves many of the plastic cabinet pegs broke. I purchased these as replacements.I have very large fingers, so I used needle nose plyers and a rubber mallet to quickly and easily install these sturdy and bargain priced cabinet shelf pegs. They work great!Enjoy!

Unable to use..... The pegs had short stems that were not a true 5mm thickness. Maybe some project will come by the way in the future where I can use them. Had to reorder a better peg...
