These wheels are smooth rolling and perfect for the sliding barn doors so popular now. A quick spray of black paint to the wheels and a trip to my local metal yard for the flat stock to make rails and we were good to go for under $50! Great product!

Used these as part of the hardware that we made for a barn door. They were perfect. Sturdy, well made and they rolled perfectly. They helped us save a truck load of money.

I know these pulleys are intended for use on a garage door, and I can't comment on how they work for that purpose. However, we were looking for a low cost roller for a barn door, and these were perfect for that application. The three inch size was just right for a sort of rustic industrial look, especially after all of the hardware was spray painted to match with an oil rubbed bronze metallic paint. The rollers are an exact fit to roll on the 2 inch by 1/8 inch flat steel bar track and smoothly carry the door back and forth along the track. This is the third set of these pulleys that we have used for this same purpose, and although this is not what they are designed for, they are a great, low cost solution for a do it yourself barn door that looks every bit as good and works at least as well as much more expensive specialty hardware. If you are looking for inexpensive rollers for your barn door project, give these a look. They worked well for us and they can work for you, too.

Feels so much better constructed compare to anything you can buy from Home Depot or Lowes. I tried pulleys from HD and Lowes and they only lasted few months installed on my double wide garage door. I do hope that this one will last as long as the original Pulley, which lasted over 12 years.

Works like a charm. Used it to fix/replace worn pulley on a commercial warehouse lift door. It took 2 man to move the door before replacing with this pulley, after replacement, I can move the door up and down with just one finger(yes, just 1). Highly recommended.p.s. This pulley works with 1/8" steel cable.

Good stuff....BTW, the pic lies...These roller come with steel straps required in garage door use, but I removed them quickly nuff. What I use them for was to weld onto my 20 ton air/hydraulic shop press to make it easy for me to raise/lower the bed plate. The rollers work perfectly!Sorry pic posts sideways, but you get the idea.

Very good, well constructed wire pulley for garage doors. I was looking for a pulley with sealed bearings but could not find one. This pulley is better constructed than the one it replaced. Although the old pulley needed to be replaced I note that that the cause of the loud noise when operating this wire operated door was due to the incorrect placement of the pulley which caused the wire to pull against the door guides when in operation. Moving the pulleys as close to the front of the rail as possible lessened the noise completely.
