The sprinkler head that screws onto the spout does not have a tight fit leaks at the bottom - I get the "sprinkler" water and a steady stream pouring onto the plants or dirt from the bottom of the sprinkler head. I've tried trimming down the plastic seam on the can itself to get a better fix, but it still leaks. After a few months of using it, the sprinkler head now easily pops off if something touches it and I get a gush of water - So much so, I am considering getting a difference can.

This is a well constructed, easy to use can for limited watering. It isn't too heavy when full. However a larger can would be needed for watering a larger garden

Purchased for $18 in summer 2021 I was very pleased with the way the sprinkler distributed water as it allows for gently light and accurate watering which is exactly what I need. The sprinkler head disintegrated early 2024.The body of the watering can still seems sturdy but as I purchased it as a bonsai waterer it does not work without the sprinkler. The company should sentdit out with 2 sprinkler heads as I do not want to add huge chunks of plastic to landfill every 3 years because a small part has broken.I wish they made it in metal which would be more durable. My mom still has the watering can we had as kids!

I'm a small woman, not especially feeble, but close enough to the ground to have trouble carrying some things that don't cause taller people any difficulty. I really appreciate the design of this can. The upper handle is placed and shaped so that the weight of the water is directly below the hand, not offset in some of the weird ways that make other watering cans uncomfortable to carry. And the lower handle is very helpful for directing the spout. Two gallons in this can (that's almost 18 pounds) don't give me any trouble at all. Another plus: when it's full and I walk around with it, water does not splash out the top. I've had other cans that can't take any kind of bumpy action at all, so I've had to hold them away from my leg while walking or risk getting wet (and I often feed plants with fish emulsion, which is not a nice perfume!).This can is very easy to fill - again, a thoughtful, practical design. The rose that came with mine works as well as I'd expect any rose on any plastic can to work: no major drips or leaks, and it's a good rose in terms of hole size and overall shape. Given that it's relatively soft plastic, it's a good idea to be gentle and aware when unscrewing the rose and putting it back on; I'd say that about every plastic watering can.I had one minor quibble when I first unpacked this can: it had a noticeable amount of plastic filings in it which I wish the manufacturer had cleaned up. I'm getting touchy about all the tiny bits of plastic that end up in our garden soil. But from the first time I tried it out, it's been so much better and more comfortable than any of our other watering cans that I'm just grateful every time I use it.

This is the best watering can design I have ever had. Feels very sturdy has some decent weight. The handles on top and the back side is perfect. The opening to fill it is on the back between the handles makes it really easy to fill it. The sprinkler head works fine for me has a nice easy flow without drowning the plant.. Some reviews say it is too slow takes forever to empty it. I didn't find that to be the case with this one. First thing I did was look at the head to see how many holes may not be opened as much as the rest. There was about 6 on the outside row. Used an upholstery skewer to open these 6 ones slightly to match the rest it works perfect. The treads that attach the head could be tighter fit. Some say it leaks bad. This one has super tiny amount you can see seeping out if I turn it straight down with maximum water force. Don't even notice it unless you are looking for it. If it gets worse with age simply use Teflon plumbers tape on the threads to enlarge it will fix that leak if you have one. With such a great design on the body and then a sprinkler head that don't fit water tight just makes no sense. With all that being said I like it and will be on the look out for a replacement head that fits like a glove. Someone could make them with a 3D printer and list them on Amazon. ;-)

What's not to love with this watering can.1. The price (less than 13 USD) - perfect.2. Light weight when empty - perfect.3. Classic design - perfect.4. Not heavy when full, but also not too small when you have a large watering job - perfect.5. Spout or rain shower watering - perfect. Just remove the "rose petal" if you want to water quick.6. Hole size - perfect. If you want the holes bigger use a drill and a drill bit or a rat tail file. Or even better, widen half the holes so you have the option of big or little holes.7. Two day shipping with Prime - perfect.8. Fits in the kitchen sink for filling - perfect.9. The filling hole is in the back so when you pick up the watering can or go to use it - the water stays in the can - not all over the kitchen floor as you are carrying it. Perfect.10. Handles on the top and size - just the right size too. Perfect

This is easily the best designed watering can I've seen. Let me tell you why: 1) It's inexpensive; 2) It holds two gallons (no back and forth to the faucet); 3) the holes in the sprinkler head are just the right size so small plants aren't crushed in a deluge; 4) the sprinkler head screws onto the spout so it's not going to fall off; 5) the filler opening is in back so the handle doesn't interfere with filling the can; 5) since the filler opening is in the back, tipping the can to water doesn't result in water spilling out of the filler opening; 6) there are two handles; 7) it is lightweight but sturdy. Did I miss anything? If I could add anything it would be a removable spout extender for longer reach when you need it. I suspect they already have that idea in the works as they put a lot of thought into this design.
