I used this shim to attach a cruiser handlebar (SUNLITE Steel Retro Cruiser Handlebar) to my existing Ritchey stem. The handlebars have a smaller diameter than the standard size in most bikes.There is a gap between the two pieces of the shims but once torqued appropriately, the handlebars do no move or rotate at all.
