The rim is not as pictured with a durable vertical spring but instead a cheap-looking small horizontal spring tucked in the corner. The predrilled holes in the backboard for attaching the rim did not align with the holes in the rim attachment plate. The metal bracket for mounting the hoop requires four screws and only two were provided. The backboard itself is made out of thin brittle plywood and arrived visibly warped (vertically and horizontally). Total disappointment.

The hoop is very nice but we did not get a wall mount withthis. So this item is sitting on the floor until we can find a wall mount.

Bought this a week ago and came in fast! though without thinking none of, I realized the breakaway springs are completely different than the pictures posted on here, it pretty much looks like a little mouse trap..the product itself feels durable but the wood itself is starting to bow outwards.. only giving it 3 stars because besides those issues, the backboard and rim dont make such a loud sound compared to typical mini hoops, which makes this a fun hoop without annoying others

I was actually able to install this myself, which was pretty impressive so that means that it’s relatively easy. The thing I like most about this product is that it’s not like the ones that go over the door that can be extremely loud when the kids are playing on it. I can barely even hear when my 11-year-old is shooting hoops, which is constantly. He really loves this hoop! And so do I!
