  • This is a complete tremolo unit that includes all hardware as pictured. Spacing of the six mounting screws is 2-7/32". String spacing is 2-7/32" (vintage). Callaham's Pop-In "64" length arm (5.25" - based on a 1964 Strat) is included.
  • Block is 1018 cold-rolled steel like vintage originals, contributes to the sustain and harmonic content that made those guitars legendary. Precision-machined top surface is free of paint to ensure solid contact with the top plate, for optimal tone.
  • Block comes with precision-reamed Delrin insert in the arm hole (Callaham's Enhanced Vintage design), which allows the tremolo arm to fit snugly and be free of play, giving you the best tremolo feel available!
  • Saddles are designed from original pre-CBS saddles with several improvements: longer slots reduce string breakage, prevent strings from binding and allows saddles to make more solid contact with the top plate; hardened saddles increase sustain.
  • Fits Fender original 1954-1977; US Reissues; Highway 1 (through 2005); Custom Shop Time Machine Series; Jimmie Vaughan Strat; Eric Johnson Strat; Road Worn Strat; Japanese Reissues; Classic Series '50s/60s/70s. Made in USA.

Callaham’s Strat tremolos are regarded by many to be the finest available. Made in the USA from the finest, vintage-correct materials, like 1018 cold-rolled steel for the blocks, and hardened, nickel-plated steel for the saddles. These bridges are beautiful to look at and sound beautiful as well!

For more details about choosing the proper trem for your guitar, refer to our illustrated diagram in the images section (this bridge is item #2 in the illustration). Our illustration shows all of the tremolo models side-by-side, with specifics about choosing a model that will fit your guitar properly.

All Callaham trems feature Callaham’s Enhanced Vintage trem block and Virtual Pop-In arms. This feature is designed to take the play - or “slop” - out of the arm, for improved feel. It also makes for quick and easy arm installation: Just push the arm in and screw it around once or twice to engage a couple of threads and you’re ready to play. The block’s internal precision-reamed Delrin bushing provides a bearing surface for the unthreaded portion of the arm, improving feel while minimizing risk of arm breakage. This is best seen in our cutaway illustration in the images section.

The block features a machined top surface that is free of paint, permitting solid metal-to-metal contact between the block and the underside of the top plate, for maximum rigidity with no dampening of vibration.

I got a much better sound , so I'm very happy with the Callaham Brigde. I installed it on my -93 Japanese vintage stratocaster .And I will buy another one too, to put on my Highway 1 .Thank You.

This bridge is well made and offers a little extra sustain for my Fender Stratocaster. It also offers a well working tremolo. One thing that I'm still getting used is the change of tone of the guitar which for me feels a little strange and I'm not sure yet if I will finally like that ....Keep that in mind ...

What an amazing trem system. The tremolo bar problem is completely solved as this fits tight and firm. Beyond that there is more clarity and sustain with this bridge. This trem was about 1.5 ounces heavier and the materials must be superior to the original Vintera II bridge which was not bad to begin with. My strat is snappier and brighter with more noticeable clarity in the low end, better harmonics and overall better tone. This is definitely worth the investment. Callaham for the win! The bridge install only took about an hour and I went with three springs. I am very happy with this product!
