It fit. Kind of tight fit over deck. I think when it comes up or open it probably will not close all the way. The keeper that came with it for the rod is junk. I didn't want to make special trip. To the hardware store. So I drilled the pin and installed a kotter key.

This is made of a more brittle plastic than the original part for my mower. But then it bumped against a tree and it shattered.

it works but its not like the factory chute whereas the factory chute was more flexible. We will have to see how long it lasts.

I just bought a Craftsman LT1000 Tractor and the previous owner removed it. During the repair/restoration process I wanted to add the side discharge chute for better mulching experience! Came with everything I needed to install minus the hardware that bolted it to the deck. STILL CHEAPER than getting from the dealer!

This is the worst experience every. Company send wrong products and expect the customer to send it back and pay for the return shipping.. Clearly stating the part number in the description of my part I ordered it and when I got it it was too small and would not fit. After reading the reviews after I got the part it seems that they have Don this to several customers.. selling the same part over and over. What a rip off..

Took forever to receive it just to learn it doesn’t fit. (To small) there is two sizes for the Craftsman tractor LT 2000. My 2005 uses the large size
