This is a quality part but the back end of the cable doesn't fit my 1996 Honda Fourtax 300. It's too big a diameter for the mounting plate hole. I drilled the aluminum mounting plate to make this cable fit and I cracked off the aluminum mounting plate on the four wheeler. It's sort of cobbled together now but it's not right. Very expensive and time consuming part to replace the part of the bike with the mounting plate. Be very careful drilling your plate if you try to make this work.
