It is a nice looking mug and decent sized. The coloring on it is very vibrant and stands out sitting in the cabinet or on the shelf. My drinks don't last very long so they hold the cold well enough. Although this is not a traditional Mule Mug, it is still a very nice cocktail mug.

Moscow Mules are one of my favorite cocktails and because they’re easy to make, I often mix one at home on the weekends. It’s more fun to drink them out of a cute glass and I love details like that anyway, so my husband bought me a pair of copper mugs to use at home. They look great and I like to use them but it’s a pain to have to hand wash them every time. This mug provides a dishwasher safe option that still looks good!Before using this mug, I put it through the dishwasher and looked at it closely afterwards to see if it looked any different and I was happy to see it was just as pretty after the dishwasher as before. This design is not exactly like my original copper ones. For one thing, it isn’t a copper color, but an almost iridescent looking rainbow color that catches the light. It is generously sized and has a honeycomb pattern that is more uniform than a hammered finish. I included a photo of this mug next to one of my copper ones to compare. They are the same size and capacity but this mug has a slightly larger, more rounded handle that is easier and more comfortable to hold. It’s a great option that looks more unique than the copper ones that have become commonplace and the fact that it’s dishwasher safe is a big plus for others like me who don’t want any extra hand washing!

The mug arrived beautifully packaged, and I was immediately impressed by its quality. The rainbow facets give it a stunning, almost iridescent look that catches the light beautifully. It's become a real conversation starter when I have guests over. The size is perfect for my daily coffee habit, and it keeps my drink surprisingly cold for a longer period than my previous mugs.But it's not just for beverages; this mug has become a versatile addition to my kitchen. The wide base makes it stable, and the size is ideal for iced coffee, which is my go-to summer drink. I've even used it for ice cream sundaes, and it was perfect for that too.The only minor drawback is that the rainbow finish can be a bit tricky to clean in the corners, but it's not a major issue. Overall, I absolutely adore this mug.

I've never used a Moscow Mule before so I didn't know what to expect. I really just liked the pretty colors. This is only suitable for cold drinks because of its thin steel walls. Using it with a hot drink will quickly heat up the walls to the point of being unable to hold it. On the flip side, it's very comfortable on a hot day to hold an icy drink in this mug. The walls become icy cold and it feels refreshing.

My wife absolutely LOVES the color of this. The iridescence color really pops out. Just by looking at it you wouldn’t believe it holds 20 ounces because it is on the shorter side and wide. After measuring it out we were able to confirm it holds every advertised ounce. Right now it’s sitting on her side table holding pens and pencils.

I don't drink alcohol, but I still love having my NA beverages and kombucha in fun cups, and I could not pass up this shimmery mug! It is lightweight made of stainless steel, and dishwasher safe.A legitimate Moscow mule mug is made of copper, so I question this being labeled as a mule mug. Yes, it has the same look/feel, but it is the wrong metal if you're looking to gift it for a Moscow mule lover._____Updating Review to 1 star: I have used this mug once, and the photos are of it coming out of the dishwasher where it has what looks like visible rust inside. I have had this for less than 30 days. I re-washed it in the sink using both a rag, and a scrub brush, and it is not coming out, so it must be rust forming. This should not be rusting after one use.

I had no idea what a Moscow Mule was when I ordered this. I was just looking for something shatterproof that held more than 16oz of water. The mug is roughly the size of a 1-cup Pyrex measuring cup and holds 20oz of water when filled to the rim. I doubt the rainbow finish will survive repeated trips to the dishwasher, but this mug is easy to wash by hand. It works fine for water and other cold drinks. I tried this with hot coffee, which would work in a pinch, but the mug is not insulated, so the coffee cools quickly and has a metallic taste. The mug handle kept my hand cool.As the recipe on the mug handles says: A Moscow Mule is a cocktail of vodka, ginger beer, and lime juice, garnished with a slice or wedge of lime and a sprig of mint. The drink, being a type of buck, is sometimes called vodka buck. It is popularly served in a metal mug such as this, which takes on the cold temperature of the liquid. This is the proper way to serve this drink with a delightful presentation. I avoid all hard liquor, though, so this is just a glorified camping mug to me. Camping mugs run about $4 compared to this beautified mug at $12. The price may be worth it for the home bartender.
