Good quality and fit my needs exactly.Had to look on-line for installation instructions. It would have been helpful if they had been included with the package. However all fasteners required were included and the install was simple enough.

Easy to install, drilling required, but can do the whole install from the roof, just need to raise the vent to the open position till you get the holes drilled. Looks great, now can leave vent open in the summer to prevent head cracking

Was so easy to install. The supplied hardware was perfect. I purchased one to test it over the main vent of the RV and to see how it fits. I’m definately going to buy another one now for the bathroom vent. My only con to it is it’s not tall enough so the vent lid only opens half way. I have it 4 star as I can’t give it 4.5 / 5. I’d say camco lost the .5 star on the height of the cover. But it does seem very durable and seems solid. Maybe camco had a different model that was higher in height but I didn’t see any when searching. I would still purchase another one for my other vent as I mentioned earlier.

Great quality for what I paid. You can't beat $21.04 shipped! For the money, definitely get it, you won't beat the price! Installation was simple, I only looked at the instructions for the drill bit size, which was wrong. Granted, I watched the quick installation video to make sure it would work for me. It says use 3/16" bit, but I tested the smaller 11/64" and it fit perfectly as possible! It wasn't too tight that there was any struggle to push the bolt through. You want a tight fit to keep everything as rigid as possible.I liked the quality of the hardware, and wondered if it was stainless steel, so I tested it with a small neodymium magnet. The only one that had a strong magnetism was the lock washer. Everything else I struggled to get it to stick for the picture. It snapped flat to the lock washer and I had trouble pulling it off. The carriage bolt, nut, washer and bracket are barely magnetic, so I'd say a decent grade of stainless steel. The brand stickers come off easily, without residual adhesive residue, and you can move them around, if you desire. The production-dated barcode tag I had to scrape off with my fingernail.Plastic quality seems alright. Sturdy but not too cheap. Like I said, great quality for the money. It has a filter screen to keep bugs and critters out. I bought a Hung's Vortex fan, which also has a screen, so there are 3 screens to catch bugs and dust from coming in or out. If you're concerned enough and don't get a flush mount to your roof, you could add weather stripping around the edges to help keep leaks and bugs out. You may need to bend the brackets down before final installation. All the hardware you need is: drill/bit and wrench or socket and ratchet for the nuts. With the lock washers, you don't need the screwdriver for the inner, small bolts.Make sure the brackets are mounted parallel to the roof, or you could crack the plastic if you tighten the nuts too much. Try to drill in the middle of the hole so you can adjust it later. You could upgrade the nuts to wing nuts if you plan to take it off for the winter if you're using a cover or for clearance while driving.

I got two for my Jayco, generally am good about closing it up when I think it is going to rain, but wanted to be able to leave them open when going out for the day, or overnight, with one right over our bed. These are a lot lighter, and smaller than I was expecting. Just thin plastic, but easy to install, and should do the job. These do not mount to your roof, they mount to the little metal flange around your vent sticking up through the roof. Bolts onto L shaped brackets, you bolt onto that flange. So requires drilling 4 holes through the metal flange on your vent. Only problem I ran into was the hardware to attach to the flange is very small. Little screws, little washers, little nuts. I have a stock fan in the bathroom, which takes up most of that space, while trying to get the nut and washers on, dropped a washer into the little space between the fan motor and and edge of the opening. No way that will ever see the light of day again. Also, because of the fan in there, I miscalculated and drilled a bit close to one of the pieces of the fan, so had to put that screw in at an angle, then try to get it as straight as possible after getting it all together. So my advice would be, if you have two openings, and one with a fan, to install the non fan one first. Just harder to do with something besides a screen in the opening. Both open about 45 degrees now, plenty to get some air movement through. In a hard rain, I have doubts it will be dry, the spray can probably get back in there, but in a gentle rain should work perfect. I don't know how they will travel yet. Took a short drive (45 minutes) and they were fine, but they were $16, so if I need to replace them in a few years, not going to break the bank. Perhaps the $100-$150 ones are better, but these were the right price, pretty easy to install, and should work fine.

I Bought 2 of these for my 2013 32' Keystone Passport 2910BH. Amazon shipped them faster than expected. I live in Southern Virginia and the heat is really bad in the summer. When I would walk into the camper it would take my breath because it was so hot, not to mention if you had to stay in it for a while doing something. I wanted these because I have heard that extreme heat is not good for the inside of your trailer, I got these so I could leave the vents open on those hot days and not have to worry about water damage, Plus if you need to shower on your trip while its raining, you could still use the bath vent fan. The install was quite simple and I had both done in around 15 mins. Was a little nervous being 6'4" 250lbs getting on top of my rubber roof, but with a 8' x 1 1/2' sheet of plywood lying on top of an old bed spred it made my weight not a problem. Roof didn't even make a noise! My buddy has the MaxAir vent on his TT and the 2 are not that much different. The Camco seems durable and for the price you can't go wrong $19.00. I figured I will use them until they fail, then replace them with the same camco vent. Plus the mounts are already there so all you would have to do is take the old off and replace with new (4 Nuts). Nothing lasts forever in the hot sunlight so if I get a good 2 years out of this I will be happy. No the vent cover doesn't let your vent open all the way but that extra inch isn't gonna make any difference in the air flow. If camco made one so you could extend your vent all the way then the cover would probably be taller than your air conditioner. All in all, I like them, they do what they are supposed to, I can tell a difference in the heat in the TT, and I would buy again.P.S.Might want to get spouse or friend to lend an extra set of paws so you want have to go up and down the ladder. I had the wife open and close the vent during install so I could make sure of clearance.
