Couldn’t give it a five star because it doesn’t hang straight down. Not a big deal. I just put the cord leaning against a small step stool so it definitely works better with than without it. Less stress. I’ve read others make the same comment before I purchased but I rolled the dice. There isn’t that many options for these. 2020 Solitude and they should all hang the same I would think. Solid built and already lasted lots of rain.

It's a Camco product, why buy anything else? Takes the strain off my trailer port from the RV cable sticking straight out. Locks tight, solid connection. Highly recommended.

Never cared for the shore power lines that plug start in and result in heavy cable hanging on plug socket. Now this "dogbone" makes an immediate 90° turn and cable stress is much less on socket.Also great for accessing new optional 50A RV plug installed at front of camper

I like this because it takes the pressure off of the trailer plug and stops the bending of the wire at the plug.

This is exactly the dogbone I wanted to take away the cord stress from my 50 amp cord plugging straight into the side of my camper and bending down at a 90 towards the ground. Good quality, properly wired, easily installed, and prevents premature wear on my 50amp cord.One problem I read in the reviews was the disclaimer that this should not be used in rain or inclement weather due to water intrusion risk. In the frequently bought together section, I found and bought Weld-On 80427 Slik Seal Plumbers Grease, 1 oz, and slathered it on both sets of threads prior to installation to water proof it as best as I could and feel confident that it will hold up (I used a good finger swipe of the stuff on both sets of threads and have plenty left over for my toilet blade, whenever that starts to leak).

a normal 50 amp twist lock cable that come with your rv from the dealer is always straight horizontal,putting a lot of strain on the socket,that is what was happening to mine.With this item there is no stress put on the socket from the heavy cable.

I have only used it once however it seems durable and easy to use. Sure makes a difference on the stress to the trailer connection which makes me wonder why trailer manufacturers include these with the sale considering it only makes sense to 45 it from the main connection? Expensive but considering the cost of replacing the outlet on the trailer due to stress break it is worth the investment.

The cord takes the stress off the horizontal attachment point as described! The prongs have to be manipulated in, and the nut threads could be of better quality. Other than that it works just fine.
