Not as powerful as advertised. It’s not noisy at all but I think it’s because of the low fan speed. It might be great for smaller fridges but it was not useful at all in mine.

This works well to circulate the air in our house refrigerator. Unfortunately the one we are replacing didn't even last a whole year but considering that it runs constantly, I guess that's not surprising. The D cell batteries are a little difficult to replace, but that's not insurmountable. All in all, it's a decent product. I'm sure it would be great for an RV fridge which is what it's designed for. We've bought it twice now.

This battery-operated little fan does a great job of circulating the air in the fridge. Over a 4 month travel, I replaced the batteries (2 D batteries) once and that was toward the last part of my trip.My only complaint is the use of batteries - I wish they were USB rechargeable.I recommend this product.

We had issues with our propane RV refrigerator freezing food within it. By adding this fan inside, the problem went away. The fan is very quiet and two batteries lasts for days. We had it running 5 days straight during our last camping trip.

Use in motorhome and find the fridge works a lot better. Not struggling as was the case previously. Would recommend to any fridge

Tiny, fits in the palm of my small hand, cheaply made, difficult to get D cell batteries in because of the way it is designed, and difficult to get the battery cover back on once batteries are in. Battery doesn't last long and with the cost of D cell batteries it makes this device costly to run. Overall this a cheap device and a complete waste of money. Definitely not worth the price I paid for it

We have a 2005 Fleetwood diesel pusher. Our propane/electric Dometic side by side unit was constantly freezing up in the fridge section. I had to defrost almost every week. I tried to find a replacement fridge, but none fit. I read about these fans on RV sites thinking there was nothing to lose. It's made a HUGE a difference. I just returned from a 30-day trip. With the fan going, I did not defrost even once. I kept the fan on the top shelf near the metal fins. While I know the battery won't last as long in very cold, I ordered a second one for the freezer. The fan totally works if placed properly. The filter is a nice alternative to the separate baking soda I had been using. Well worth the price.

Before I had this I had a 5c difference between the top and bottom areas of the fridge. I used a usb hand fan in there before I ordered this item and the top and bottom were in sync by 1c. When it arrived I replaced the hand held fan with this item and in the morning the difference was back up to 5c. Useless! Returned to Amazon.

When I first got the fan it wasn't working at all. I couldn't figure out why and was about to ask for a refund, until I looked at the wires connecting to the battery plates. The wires on it looked really cheap and the connection looked questionable, so I wiggled the wires a bit and moved them around. After that, the fan started working, thankfully.I have a small chest freezer which I use to regulate the temperature of my beer during fermentation, and this seems to do a reasonable job. I measured the temperature at the bottom and top of the inside of the freezer, and the range of temperatures was about 5 degrees - much better than no fan, which was close to a 12 degree differential.I'm a bit disappointed with the air speed coming from this thing, it's not the fastest. All in all, this is an okay fan for the job. I don't know how reliable it'll be in the future considering how cheap it seems to be made. But then again for the value, it's not a terrible purchase.

I bought this item after reading concerns from other RVers about the cooling of RV refrigerators. For the price I decided to give it a try and ultimately was pleased with its performance. Operating off 2 D cell batteries it is silent when running and provides a small amount of air flow circulating the cool air from the top of the frig to the bottom. Food in the bottom did seem cooler.I did turn it on it’s side as other reviewers had mentioned but it’s small and compact and doesn’t use much room. It ran 7 days on our last trip before I turned it off so I believe battery life will not be an issue.Have camped for years I think this will improve the cooling of our RV refrigerator.

When we got this it didn't work immediately. We saw someone else suggested that you hit it with your hand a few times and it will start working. I guess the fan gets stuck. We did that and it started working and worked fantastically ever since. We use it to stop our RV fridge icing up and it works very well. So glad we purchased this fan.

I am using this item in a small "dorm room" type refrigerator, the type with separate refrigerator and freezer compartments. I basically bought this because the back of the refrigerator would freeze up and anything placed too close to the back was doomed! My results with this has been mind blowing! First, since installing, I have had to adjust the temperature control down from close to "7" to "4", and it is still a bit colder than it needs to be (but I like it that way). I have in both sections a wireless digital thermometer that tracks highs and lows. Since installing this I have a much more even cycle and a swing of only about 4 degrees. It seems to cycle on a bit more, but total run time on the compressor is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced! Obviously there is no more issue with ice on the back wall. Now to the product it's self: My first run was on a pair of slightly used D cells out of a flashlight I had sitting around... got about a month out of those which I believe is what others had reported. Today 4/13 I installed a set of fully charged 10,000 mAh NiMH batteries (bought 4 on Amazon)... update in a month I hope. My hope is that I get about a month out of these and then I have two fully charged waiting to replace them. Now, my only concern is the battery door. I have read that the tab breaks and then you cant keep it closed. I can definitely see this as an issue and if it happens to me I will update. So far I am trying to be super careful and gentle with it!
