On hot days, it keeps my head cool for me not to be bothered by the heat. I have never had brain freeze. Here's an experiment, Amazon is not going to accept this review if you try it. Take the challenge, eat a whole container of ice cream one and a half quarts. Then report to yourself what happens the next day. Your going to flip. I like the size, very large. very soft. very affordable. Lots of bang for the buck.

Too much polyester, not enough cotton making them hot to wear and difficult to keep in place without clips etc.

I ordered these to decorate for a BBQ, I tied a cowboy knot on a mason jar for a vase and the worked great. Bright colored, soft. They are polyester and not cotton so if buying them to use as handkerchiefs they may not be as good. Arrived the day after I ordered them. Good value for the price.

Bought these for my husband to use under his helmet to keep the sweat out of his eyes while bicycling. He has a "big ole melon head", his expression, not mine. Fits him just fine and does the job.

I thought these would be cotton. They don’t feel stiff like I was expecting. They are shinier & silkier. More like polyester.
