I searched several men's sandals and finally found these. These have very comfortable insole (soft but not hot). The size runs bigger so I ordered a 10 instead of the recommended 11. It fit nicely snug. The velco straps were very long but Ok handles to tighten up with. I would hope the makers would allow the velco straps to more easily tighten instead of getting hung on the thicker base strap. The design makes for a cool sandal. No pain from the insole. No pain from the straps. Looks nice as well. I did not return them.

I really like these shoes. They are comfortable and provide toe protection, which I need for work. They dry out quickly which I also need since I work outdoors in Florida in a garden shop. The soles are tough, not much cushion, but comfortable. I normally wear a woman's size 8.5 to 9. I got the men's size 7 and they fit perfectly. The gray is more of a blue-gray.

Living in the hot and humid tropics of Central America, shoes sometimes don't last long here. My last set of Camel Crown shoes were sandals, and they lasted a year before the sole separated and no amount of Super Glue was gonna help. A year doesn't seem very good, but again, the tropics...So, I gave Camel Crown another shot, because that first pair was quite comfortable. These are, too!I went with closed-toe this time because the terrain near the beaches can be challenging. You also may need to stomp the occasional scorpion.They look dorky but not nearly as dorky as I thought they would, even at Size 13. I like the fact that nobody is looking at my toes. I also was afraid that my toes would get stuck in the vents near the toe box or rub against them. No worries there, either. They're very accommodating and give me a lot more confidence around the beaches than the sandals did. Fingers crossed that they last longer than a year.

My 10yo loves these water shoes but the strap came loose from the footbed less than three months after we bought them 😩 I am trying to glue them back together but I'm very disappointed. Four days past the return window, too.

This is the 2nd pair of these Water/hiking sandals. The Velcro wore out after 2 years on the first pair and wouldn't stay closed in the water. Liked these so much ordered another pair to replace because the rest of the shoe was still fine. I hope the velcro stands up. Great for hiking through water and rocky rivers/beaches. Sides are open so sand and water can flow in and out. Sturdy bottom also allows for light hiking. Breathable Fabric allows them to dry fairly quickly. After reading many of the reviews about size and running large, I almost ordered a size down but Im glad I didnt because they are true to size (at least this pair was) perfect size 12.

It is really good for walking, feels comfortable, safe even on wet surfaces (tried on a rainy day).Just the strap behind, it's bit tricky at first.

Prior to some recent trials, I had been reluctant to order something which only comes in one width typically listed as Medium if listed at all. Most of the current sandals are easily wide enough to accommodate my usually X to XX-Wide feet (4E to 6E depending on the shoe/brand).These particular Camel Crown sandals are a perfect fit. I’m diabetic and have various foot issues including hammer toes and a partial amputation of the big toe on one foot, a fully amputated pinky toe on the other, and sometimes bad neuropathy in both. Plus, one foot is now at least a full-size shorter than the other, which makes finding a single pair which really works for both a good trick. These shoes do that magic. The straps at the rear keep my heels and arches where they belong. The toe shield is just enough for protection without feeling like the whole foot is enclosed, these sandals on the whole feel very open and light. The toe area has enough coverage in the right areas to hide the more unsightly bits. The contour of the footbed and sole is like a lot of this general style, comfortable and flexible, but supportive. I have some severe back issues and these shoes clearly make a difference walking in them. When not on my feet, it’s also easy to forget I’m wearing them, so I’m in no hurry to take them off, which I usually want to do as soon as I can if shoes aren’t needed.They seem very well put together and I hope they last a while. The straps are a heavy gauge nylon like a dog leash, with strong velcro, and the whole upper is just a bit stretchy and softly padded so there nothing to rub you the wrong way. If I lived somewhere I could wear them all year I most certainly would!

So, i have been buying these style of waterproof/resistant closed toed sandals for many years. They tend to last a long time (the Keen brand). I needed a new pair after 5 years of heavy use, and i was VERY excited when i found THIS brand online here at Amazon for much cheaper.As soon as i picked them up from the Amazon Pickup Box at my local 7-Eleven i put them on immdiatley and walked home with them.I was in love with these shoes INSTANTLY. VERY COMFORTABLE AND GOOD QUALITY. Better than my previous shoes.Today i hiked through some woods and trudged through some puddles. Great tracktion and so far, nonslip. Climbed a few small ledges.Spent much of the day walking and my feet feel great!I do an excessive amount of walking, and these Camel shoes will be my normal everyday shoes. And one of the BEST parts, is that if it gets cold you can just put on some black socks and they look just like sneakers ;)UPDATE: I have been wearing these shoes daily for about a month now, and they are still holding up. I do tend to get blisters when i wear sandals a lot, but i started wearing black socks with these when i don't plan on getting my feet wet and my feet are totally fine now.I do love these shoes and planned on getting a second pair, but then i found the Keen brand here on Amazon and decided to have 1 pair of Keen and 1 Pair of Camel instead.I AM STILL VERY HAPPY with these. And if you dont want to spend the extra money on a higher brand, these Camel shoes are an EXCELLENT VALUE!I got the Keen brand in the mail a few days a go and havnt even put them on yet bec im still enjoying these camel sandals.
