This is my second pear of these boots.First pear lasted 3 years, this pear is sposed to be waterproof they are not which is fine I have bee's wax leather saver and waterproof. Very comfortable warm.

Comfortable boot but after 6 months the stitching on the left boot is starting to come apart. Not sure how this will hold up through the winter. The laces broke after a very short time as well and had to get new laces.

While this item may have a 'waterproof rubber toe cap', by NO MEANS is this boot waterproof! The boot uppers readily absorb water and within a short time they are damp down to the lining. The leather uppers appear to have no waterproofing qualities at all - as other buyers have noted, the water works it's way quickly into the boot through the bottom of the tongue. I'm hoping by applying waterproofing to them, they may be a more capable boot. They run at least 1/2 size large - even with two socks they are a little loose on my foot. While they look great and are very comfy, should not be used for serious hiking or backpacking.

This boots are comfortable but it seems like the sole is too soft when you break it in you can feel the soggy soles where you need the support the most.

These shoes are used by me for walks in the wildThey are wide enough for learning 11 water reports and a sole that protects rocky feet
