Really strong smoke. Doesn't take much smoke to get the mesquite flavor. There is bark in the bag, which gives a bitter flavor. I've cut my own mesquite, with no bark, and the flavor is much milder than these chips.Use sparingly.

Chips are just the right size for the chip tray in my smoker, and they give the meat a great flavor.
