The RED (SWCY) filters are ideal for tropical blue salt water or clear freshwater. They filter an excess of blue from the image and boost red and yellow. For 5-20 feet (1,5-6 meters), 20-50 feet (6-15 meters) and 50+ feet (15+ meters).
EASY 'CLIP & SLIP' SYSTEM:
The MAGENTA filter is ideal for fresh or salt water that is green (GR) in appearance, due to a high concentration of algae in the water. For depths between 20 to 130 feet (6 to 40 meters).

I ordered these filters hoping they would fit my generic action camera, wanted to do some underwater photography. Cannot find any information that measure the lens housing on the filter portion of the case. This snap on piece is 1.5in X 1.3/8 in. somewhat rectangular. They do not fit the generic action cameras that need a 1.5 X 1.5 in housing. This is a great item but just make sure you know your housing dimensions if the camera is non brand specific. Have to return, starting back at sq one.

Nel complesso buone ma non sono eccezionali come quelle di altre marche. Ma in ogni caso la trasparenza è buona e non hanno riflessi strani sull'obbiettivo. Le variazioni cromatiche permettono di utilizzarle bene in quasi tutte le occasioni. Nel complesso un buon prodotto.

I love that this filter comes with multiple lenses so you can adjust it according to your depth. I have used the red and pink one and was very pleased with the picture quality. You do want to be careful with the lens housing- there is a fairly fragile piece and if you aren’t careful (like I wasn’t) it could crack. I had that happen the first time I used it. Contacted the company to see if they could do anything and they were so helpful!! They sent me a replacement piece right away. I was very impressed with the care and service they provided to me as a customer. I definitely recommend this product.

As I'm sure this kit works wonderfully with the session4, I am writing specifically for the session 5...which, of course is listed as compatible. Yes, the filter does fit the session 5 with no dive case (more on this in a sec) Yes, it does make pictures better under water. Yes, it will get lost due to the multiple pieces and is very cumbersome to tote around and set up. And yes, it does fall right off of the session 5 if you look at it with both eyes open. Use only one eye, and it's fine. But don't ever take the session 5 into the water using this kit. Save your self the time of finding something to transport the kit in to the dive, trying not to lose it as you set it up, trying to keep it in place as you enter the water..oops...there it goes...all the way to the bottom. But hey, I got a great pic of it floating away...Bottom line is, use this for the session 4 only. Eventually someone will make something compatible with the 5, but alas, it is not this day.

Fantastic little filter kit. I'mAmazed at the difference a filter makes. I've used the magenta and the light red filters with excellent results. I'll use the darker red filter in a couple of days when I go diving. The filter housing fits nicely in the GoPro and the filters themselves snap into the housing snugly. I'm very very pleased with the product. Definitely a "must have" if you plan on using your GoPro underwater.** Update - After diving, I took off the filter and housing to shoot the shoreline and the boat. To make a long story short - I ended up losing the housing and the 50'+ filter. I contacted the seller and asked how I can get a replacement since I had lost that part of mine. As a courtesy, they are shipping me a new one free of charge. Amazing. I didn't expect that but they've got a customer for life in me now. Oh, I almost forgot the most important part - my videos were spectacular. The colors were so vibrant, it was amazing. I just used an extendable selfie stick and the 50'+ filter diving and the videos look like they were professionally. A selfie stick works great since you can get that closer to your target.

I have tried other filters, but they were either so cheaply made that the images were badly distorted or so red that the only possible "color correction" was to make the images black and white. These filters are not free of distortion, but the distortion is not severe, probably quite acceptable for most purposes. The orange filters are of three densities, and they are realistically balanced to blue sea water. The fit of the filter holder to the camera housing is fairly snug, but it seems wise to use the tether to attach it to the camera base in case it slips off. The filters fit fairly snugly in the holder, and seem unlikely to accidentally fall out; a thumbnail right at the edge can pull them out for replacement. The filters come with protective transparent plastic over them, which should be removed before use. The filters are of rather soft plastic, so care should be used in handling and cleaning them, to avoid scratching. The set comes in a water resistant plastic zip case, which makes it fairly easy to set up a filter before the dive while in moist conditions. It may be best to estimate before the dive, rather than while underwater, the amount of color correction needed, based on the light color that will be delivered by the weather, the depth of the dive, the color of the water, and the distance to the subject matter, although filters could be changed during the dive. Color correction with filters is normally an approximation, but coming fairly close to a neutral balance makes further correction with editing software easier, and actual colors (what would be seen in the environment under white or slightly warm light) are better preserved.

just finishing up 18 days snorkeling in Hawaii. I have only used the filter for 5-20 ft but it really makes a difference in making things look more natural. I like the way the system snaps on and the filter slips in. Some people complained about it being delicate-easy to break but I have not found that to be the case. I don't abuse it and it works great. Need to remember to remove it if you surface and want to shoot pictures while on the surface.

Very simple to install and use and about a ⅓ the cost of other systems that provide only one lense.My only issue is the frame is really thin (but light weight) and is a little tricky to install when attached to the camera and inserting the assembly into a go pro floating case.The thiness of the frame makes the mounting tabs look / fell a little flimsy, but they do secure well to the GP frame and no issues arose when used without the float case.For piece of mind I had to sand a bit of the GP floating case' inside edges to give the filters mounting tabs a little more room when sliding the camera and filter into the floaty. This issue arises in part because the lanyard for the frame mounts through the mounting clips and the floating case has really tight fitVery good value, I would like to see a polarizer lense from CamKix or a fully integrated lense / case unit
