I ordered this to use when we went camping to hold a lantern. It’s only about 3 feet tall so the lantern didn’t hang very high over the table. It is sturdy and didn’t bow when the lantern was hung. Fine purchase for the price.

You get what you pay for. The metal spring that holds the two poles in place scratches the poles very easily if your aren't careful. Overall poor design and clunky to use.

It's very short, if you put it on a picnic table and hang the lantern on it the light will be right in front of your eyes. The other thing is you will not be able to put it on any picnic table, as the fastening width is very narrow, last time we camp our campsite had a stone picnic table we could not fix it on the tabletop because the tabletop was wider than regular wooden tabletop.

We bought 2 of these to use when we go camping, this will allow us to play games out on the picnic table at night. I love the height - they work perfect with our little lanterns. I also love that they can easily be disassembled and stored in the bag that come with them. Perfect for stowing away in our camper.

This lantern stand is a great idea, and a great product. I got it for use on camping trips, and then we had a long power outage. I attached this stand to the edge of my kitchen counter and hung my camping lantern from it and we had light all evening.The stand disassembles into three pieces - a base, extension, and hanger arm. Each slips together and holds securely. There is a clamp on the base unit that both clamps to a horizontal surface and has a stand height adjustment.It is lightweight, compact, and all fits into a nice carry pouch that comes with the stand.Overall I think this is a great product.
