I have a friends that loves bee, and this ended up being the perfect present. Initially she saw just the bee-hive candle but then noticed the decorative bees on it and was even happier. I doubt it will ever get used but I am curious to see it work. Maybe I need another for christmas?

LOVE LOVE LOVE this item! I used it as a decoration because I could not light the candle since it is so cute! If you wanted to use as a candle instead of a decoration then this is possible with the company having replacement hives for once you finish yours at great prices. I have received so many compliments from friends and family about this item!

When I opened the box tiny Styrofoam pieces went everywhere. There are no real instructions on how to put this thing together. The stand that it comes with is sits uneven so it wobbles side to side. The clamping arm that sits in the center post appears to be missing a bolt or something that attaches the arm to the post otherwise it loosely sits in the post. The bees that come with it are extremely cheap plastic pieces that you are to put together that don't even fit together. This is by far the tackiest looking household item I have ever purchased and am hoping to be able to return it.

I fell in love with and waited. It was worth it other than the bees wings. I can’t get most to stay on bee. Picture shows lighter or white wings but they are orange.It smells like heaven and I am very picky.Came in great shape I was prepared for issues and it was perfect!

The candle was used in our family gift exchange at Christmas and the recipient was both surprised and pleased with the uniqueness of it. I jokingly mentioned that if she wanted real bees instead of the ones that came with the candle that I knew of an apiarist who could supply some REAL dead ones upon request. I threw in some bees wax lip balm and it was all a hit. Now weather or not she will use it...I don't know but in a power outage, it would be a great source of light.
