This candle is AMAZING! Not only does it look nice it burns so long with NO smoke and NO drip. Legitimate bees wax with no fillers or chemicals. I have purchased 2 along with refills. I pray they never stop making the refills I am obsessed! Everyone who sees it asks me about it!

This is an awesome piece, everyone loves it. We were surprised at how soft the wax is. It is easy to move the wax up the clamp after it has cooled down. Contrary to the videos, you need to pull the candle up two inches, not one, for it to burn for an hour. It appears there is enough for this to indeed burn for 80 hours. Love it.

Within seconds of opening the box you can tell that this is not a natural beeswax candle but instead artificial coloring and scent to make it appear real. The smell is overly sweet and not how beeswax smells, but clearly artificial. Whatsmore, what I lit the candle the scent gave me a headache the lingered for hours. I would not recommend this product.

I love that this candle is truly just beeswax. The smell of just beeswax is very nostalgic and comforting. It is aesthetically pleasing and I love that I can choose how much to burn before it automatically will just go out! Truly obsessed with this product! I’m definitely buying the citronella refill for summertime!

Looks like picture- I did not burn this myself but bought them as gifts- my friend thought it was cool and the picture she sent looked like it - I would purchase again. It’s quite a piece of art and while functioning as a candle!

I want to love this candle, but it has many drawbacks. The construction isn't what I'd call "bad", but it's next to impossible to unroll more candle without knocking the spool off the stand. It needs a latch around the notch the spool rests in. The candle sticks badly to the snuffing tube, so it's very hard to release when you want to pull more candle up for you next use, again, without knocking the spool out of the frame. And the candle wax itself is too brittle to effectively "unbend" from the spool when you pull it up into the snuffer/holder. I have an idea that either of these problems might be mitigated by shooting it with a hair dryer before resetting for its next use, but I haven't tried that yet.On the up side, it's nice that it snuffs itself when it burns down, and it has a cool look to it.

This candle is such a unique and clever idea! I love how it feeds through the clamp and self-extinguishes when it burns down—it’s both functional and fun to watch. The beeswax is nice and gives off a neutral, unscented vibe, which I appreciate. That said, getting the candle to feed properly at the start was tricky, and I was worried I might break it. It’s a bit on the pricey side for what it is, but I’m still happy with the purchase overall. It’s definitely a conversation piece!

So deliciously fragrant, even unlit, that you'll think you actually live inside a beehive.

My first time to burn I pulled up 1.5" (measured) to check on the burn time. Three inches is supposed to burn in one hour, so 1.5" would burn 30 minutes.I'm a beekeeper and I do make candles and sell them but I can't make these specialized candles. I love this antique idea of having a courtship candle. Back in the day, the parents would set the candle length for the burn time. Then the suitor would visit and then when the candle self-snuffs, it's his time for him to leave. These courtship candles self snuff whereas the wrought iron ones burn by the hour but don't snuff.Being beeswax, depending on where you live, if the wax is cold it can break when you pull on it but it'll heat up incredibly quickly just from the heat of your fingers. So if you wrap your fingers around the wax for just a few seconds before you pull it up that will prevent breakage. It burned with a nice flame with no drafts which will speed up burn time. I didn't order the glass cylinder, mostly because I know beeswax burns better with lots of access to oxygen. The unit is about 10" tall. The copper is lovely and the whole thing looks well made. The candle burned for 35 minutes and then self-snuffed. So it was 5 minutes more than the estimate. Love this old fashioned candle.
