Your cart is empty. This Cane Creek 40-Series Conversion Crown Race will allow you to run a 1-1/8" straight fork with a 30mm crown race seat in any Cane Creek headset with a 1.5" lower bearing. It's made of durable steel and has a low-friction face seal that runs lightly against the face of the lower cup to keep the bearings from being contaminated with mud and muck spraying up from the front wheel.

Unfortunately I looked at the image, saw "Series 40" and ordered... the photo is NOT correct. This is a CONVERSION to make your straight 1-1/8" fork able to work with a TAPER head tube (1-1/8" on top and 1-1/2" on bottom) on newer frames. I am quite sure this does what it is supposed to do, but they need to change the photo and really REALLY make sure you understand this is a CONVERSION.
