The death wobble on my Wired Freedom is better but still present. Low speed, it's gone but speeds above 25 mph it shows its ugly head, so don't let go of the handle bars. This is due the the design of the bike and no amount of steering dampening will make it go away.I'll save you my boring engineer's explanation as to why it can never be completely eliminated and leave it at that.Would I buy one again, that answer is yes.

This product eliminates the wobble from an imbalanced E-bike. I can now ride hands free again; if I choose. Before this product install, even riding one handed was sketchy due to the wobble of the front wheel/ handlebars.

I installed the viscous, headset top bearing into my Ariel Rider Kepler eBike. I can now ride hands free at 41 mph.I removed the old bearing by tapping it out from underneath with a vinyl hammer and a socket extension, and tapped the new viscous bearing in with a rubber mallet. No other type of mallet, like an orange, dead-blow hammer, worked. Once I got it started, it was fine. However, if I were to install another bearing I would cough up the $20 for a press-in tool such as https://a.co/d/1qUKg4s .I only needed the top bearing, but if I was doing this job again I think I would replace the bottom bearing as well. All these Cane Creek bearings are just better, you don't need a viscous one on the bottom, and the price isn't bad.I don't really notice the added damping when I'm going slow but at higher speeds the bike is more stable. I can even ride hands free (but, of course, I don't recommend it).
