The truck bed had house furniture held in place with bungee cords. We bought a large piece that we needed to make sure it stayed in place. It did. It worked great. They are strong and durable. We have Re-used them to hold our bikes down on the rack on the back too. Very functional and diverse. I will buy more b/c we are finding all kinds of things to use them for.

These are well made and sturdy but they stretch very little. I can't use them toprotect my garbage bin; they just don't stretch hardly at all.

Comparing these to a store bought heavy duty bungee, these are just as versatile. The fail point is the hook, which is not made for protecting load shifting in a truck bed. These are great at holding my gear down in my boat while in motion, the task intended when purchased. After some decent use for a few months, they don't seem to be fatiguing on the elasticity.

These long cords were the perfect size to wrap around my hydrageas. This prevented them from drooping over, being run over by the lawn mower.
