It's an excellent lens, and is in a as-new condition, no marks or scratches. Came with the hood but no case. Which didn't matter as it is now attached to my camera as my initial goto lens. Images I have taken so far shows no issues. Very pleased.

Virtually silent and rapid response. Reassuringly solid construction. I have used Canon kit as a pro for over 30 years. I am still buying into mirror cameras. Modern mirrorless cameras are not up to the kind of punishment my cameras get. It’s a fact of life that I shoot in dirty dusty and often wet conditions. This lens is weather sealed so offers good protection from rain splashes etc. sits on my 7D and 5D cameras very comfortably. A great workhorse but I will always use prime lenses for critical work.I ordered the lens on a Wednesday and got it Thursday professionally packed and immaculate.

Perfect lens for a budding photographer on a budget. It’s been the only lens on my camera in 6 months. Versatile for families and small groups, I love the tiny details I can get. Arrived in perfect condition and works a dream, cannot tell it’s refurb!

I couldn't afford the new lens so I took a chance on this refurbished unit. So far I am extremely happy with this decision. The physical appearance is like new except the hood which has some scratches on it. I'm fine with that because now I don't worry about scratching it. LolThe auto focus is fast and accurate. The images are crisp and clear. I haven't done extensive testing at all focal ranges and f-stops but what I have seen so far makes me happy! I would do this again and recommend it to others. Cost was about half of new and it performs as new. Will it last like a new one? Time will tell.
