The product is fine, the shipping process is not.In these days of overnight and next-day deliveries, it was disappointing to see that our order for 2 pads of tracing paper, placed on March 10, was not scheduled for delivery until March 22 at the earliest. When trying to track, the items never showed up as "Shipped" so we had no idea when we were going to receive them until we got a "Delivered" notice on March 24.We ordered the 2 tracing pads at the same time; they were sent in 2 packages, rather wasteful.

How can you grade something like this. It came in time, quality seems good, it works as intended, would order it again. There you go.

My go-to for tracing paper. Good for tracing and transferring designs. You can make your own carbon transfer paper with this product as well. Simply rub one side of the paper completely with a pencil. Lightly soak a cotton ball in lighter fluid and then lightly rub it across the graphite, going in both directions and in a circular motion to evenly distribute the pencil markings to all four edges. Let dry and then place it between your tracing paper drawing and the paper that you want to transfer the design to. Trace over your lines and you will have a drawing that should be easily erasable. Test on your paper, it works well for me on 140# watercolor papers.

Canson's tracing paper is the clearest I've ever encountered. It is not at all cloudy or grainy, and is evenly translucent throughout the whole page. Pencil erases cleanly off of the paper, and so long as you hold the paper steady, it will not rip or wrinkle. I also have a heavy hand on occasion, and miraculously, despite being such a nice, translucent tracing paper, I don't leave any indention in the paper. Because of this, I often find myself using it for most of my drawing. I also use this for transferring pencil drawings to watercolor paper, and its soft surface allows for graphite to easily transfer to another page through rubbing, which is a technique I make a lot of use of.This is the only tracing paper I'd ever recommend.I've attached some pictures to demonstrate how clear the paper is, as well as how cleanly it erases. Hopefully this gives you a little more confidence in my review; I truly think this product is essential for an artist.

The best tracing paper I've ever used. I had originally bought the most popular tracing paper sold here on amazon, I believe the brand is Studio 71, and that paper was so frustrating to use. You could barely see through it. I had some old blick store brand tracing paper that was much much more translucent, but still wasn't great. Then I found this. It is SO GOOD. It's extremely smooth and extremely translucent. Don't waste your time with any other brand, this is as good as it gets. If I ever need more tracing paper, this is the only brand I will ever buy again.

This product lives up to its claims. It really is a superior tracing paper. When it comes to the clarity of the tracing paper, you can't beat it. Previously, I was using the Strathmore brand. It's what I had on hand, and I didn't think too much of it (until I needed much of it for a rather large project). This is certainly the most superior I have ever used.

Nice and transparent as well as sturdy so this is good paper for tracing.I had also bought this to try out for printing type to attach to acrylic mixed media paintings. For that use, it did not work. The paper does not attach well to the painted canvas and also tends to shrivel up when acrylic medium is applied. So for its stated purpose of tracing, buy it. But if like me, you're still searching for an "invisible" paper to attach laser printing to mixed media painting, this is not it.

I really love this paper - it's like vellum - stable and flat, but pretty translucent, and not quite as stiff as proper vellum. Great price, too! Some tracing paper is too thin, reacts too easily to moisture (even fingers), or is too weak to stand up to an eraser. This stuff is great with a drafting eraser - I can completely remove pencil marks, repeatedly, showing hardly any wear. I really love this stuff. To the reviewer who claimed it's no more transparent than regular copy paper, you must have received a different product. It is far more translucent, and extremely easy to copy line drawings through this paper - without any illumination behind, even in poor light. I'm attaching an image with some pencil shading on regular all purpose copy paper, with the edge of the copy paper folded over on one side, and edge of this tracing paper over the other side, with nothing covering the middle. The tracing paper is lifting a little at the edge, making it look fuzzy, but if you have it right against, you can see right through, crisp & clear. Also, upper left has the tracing paper over the gray cardboard back of this paper pad, with the uncovered gray backing in the center top, as a light and color reference.

The clearest, smoothest tracing paper I have tried so far. Easily see fine details through it. Markers dry quickly on it too, less chance of smudging. No visible grains either.

I was looking for drafting paper with a line template to be used for drawing straight sketches. I am an old engineer who likes to make sketches of my products before I finalize them. The paper is Ideal but it had no line template to help draw straight lines. I developed my own from spreadsheet and keep it with the pad. When I sketch I slip the template under the page and away I go.
