This Car Ashtray, Auto Ashtray with Damping Lid Purple LED Light for Most Car Cup Holder, is the perfect auto ashtray needed for my vehicle it sits perfectly in the cup holder and tall in height to make dumping any ash into the cup very convenient. I love how the ceramic coating helps to smolder any burning ash with little to mild effect of having smoked in my vehicle. The purple lighting adds a nice effect especially while driving at night and being able to reach over knowing where to dump my ash without it falling all over the interior. Its light weight but provides ample weight without it swaying or tipping during my ride. Overall its a nice auto ashtray and works for me in keeping my vehicle ash free of smoking material. Not sure how long the light will last there has to be away to replace the batteries.

This little ashtray is perfect for our pontoon boat. It fits perfectly in the cup holders. The lid opens easily and closes to keep the ashes from blowing all over the place … plus it lights up so even at night there’s no excuse for missing the ashtray. Works great!

I got this for my coworker who smokes in her car. It fits nicely in the cupholder and the light helps to see it at night. It's decent quality but the battery compartment could be more convenient.

Although this "Solarxia Car Ashtray" has potential, there's some things that make me not like it very much. Its inner cup is non-removable, and so is the top portion, so cleaning this out periodically would be challenging at best.I also found no way to turn off the purple LED light, so even in the daytime, it comes on. The silver portion, where one could smash or rest the cigarette feels (and looks) cheap and flimsy. The lid shuts very well and stays that way until I open it. The inner cup feels like the inside of a coffee cup, so would wash well if it was removable, or if at least the top portion was removable.I think this car ashtray, although has some good ideas (light, lid, inner cup) could be improved, as it has potential to be much better. Updated: The light went out so I tried to replace the battery. When I removed the screws and lid, everything came loose. I couldn’t get the battery out but the kicker is the light began working properly before I could replace the battery. I couldn’t figure out how to reassemble the loose parts so now I have a lidless ashtray that’s nice but now useless. So I’m removing 3 stars from my original review (below). The reason being, the light stopped working prematurely for no reason. If it had continued to work I never would’ve had to attempt to replace the battery and I would still have a working ashtray.Original: I really Like the inside. Others is all plastic, but this one has a nice, coated inside that I really didn't want to put my cigarettes out. I believe that it also intensifies the light inside the ashtray too. This is a nice ashtray that fits right into the cupholders. Nowadays they don't make cars with ashtrays, so you have to outsource if you smoke. This produce is the best I've seen so far. I recommend this product if you have the need and are looking.

The ashtray fits the cup holder in my wife's Jeep perfectly, it can store quite a few packs worth of cigarettes before needing cleaned.The ashtray really does look sleek and stylish, my only real gripe is the battery cannot be replaced on this unit.But at the end of the day, it does exactly what it was intended to do.The big button to open it is quite satisfying, a quick flick of the button makes the ashtray open.

This ashtray fits my car’s cup holder perfectly. The light makes it very convenient and easy to use at night. Being able to close the lid cuts down on the smoke smell in the car.
