Lid doesn't pop up when button is pushed. Have to hold lid down along with button.

I want to love this little car ashtray so bad! And realistically, I do but the main highlight about this is being able to locate it in the dark and not ash on the car itself. It does keep the ashes inside, it fits the cup holder great, the light level is blue and bright enough, and the functionality of the lid is fine EXCEPT that it activates and deactivates the light itself but didn’t close fully. So with that being said, idk if we got a faulty one or not but the light only lasted one day! The portion of the lid that disengages the light upon closure, did not reach far enough when closed to turn the light off… so the light died out before it even got ashes in. And now our lighted car ash tray is an unlighted car ash tray. I’d love another that actually cuts the light off when closed though.Double check your lid closes tight on your first use!

I like the light that turns on when you open it my only issue with it is the button doesn’t work very well to open it and you have to play with it quite a bit. Other than that, it does its job. It’s great when your vehicle doesn’t have an ashtray plus you can close it and make it where your car doesn’t fill up with smoke.
