I clipped this to my rearview mirror, it seems the best place for it to watch a grandchild in the rear seat.Every once in awhile it does pop off, sometimes surprising me while driving, but it does the job otherwise, in that I am able to see the child as I'm driving without turning around to face the rear of the car.

I use this a rear view mirror (secondary) from the passenger side as a driving instructor. It provides a wider angle view than the primary rearview mirror, which I cannot use from the passenger side because the driver is using it.
