Engineered for severe-duty applications, the thermoplastic outboard boot provides increased life and durability versus a traditional neoprene boot. The transmission seal diameter is precision-machined after heat treatment to ensure correct surface finish, promoting long seal life. High-quality grease withstands high-temperature and high-torque demands to ensure long-lasting, reliable performance. Boot clamps are pneumatically crimped, creating a perfect seal between the boot and housing. A new axle retaining nut is supplied with every drive shaft assembly for a hassle-free installation, due to the likelihood that the original retaining nut is worn or stripped. Additionally, all CV Axle Drive Shafts are individually verified for straightness, resulting in vibration-free performance at all speeds. They seem to have lasted longer than most store options, but failed to rival the original axles. The problem like most is the Boot. It developed cracks after about a year.

Worst customer service i have ever had with Amazon. Item was absolutely garbage. I can't get my money immediately. Customer has to suffer for company's negligence. Item was in box 4 times it's size with little padding. Was broke open ,grease every where.

I replaced the axel wheel hub, bearing caliper rotor an caliper bracket on my Silverado about 4 months ago an it’s held up good so far. Easy to install, good price I’d deff buy again.***So update…just over a year and the clamp on the boot came lose an let the grease out so I’m currently trying to see if they will cover it under warranty***

There are lots of bad reviews for this product. It came packaged well. no issues right out of the box. I have put about 500 miles on this shaft and i have had no issues what so ever. Fits just like a OEM part. So not sure what may have been going on with the other bad reviews or maybe i just got lucky. I will purchase another one when the time comes to replace the other side. So far so Good.
