Plastic is not hardened. Kept breaking ends off while installing even when hole was drill to proper size. Broke 5 putting in.

I needed to replace 2 of the four hooks in my car. These hooks are very durable and look identical to the original hooks. The screw thread was a little different but that is expected when using a different brand but a quick trip to the hardware store fixed that issue. From what I read, the biggest issue was removing the screws that came with the hooks. I just used a locking wrench to hold the screw and my hand to unscrew the hook end. :)

Purchased for a 2015 4Runner to hold the rear cargo net. Didn't install it. The hooks were too small for the cargo net and after a little more research these were the wrong ones for my vehicle. Maybe it can be installed on the wall of a house for hanging things. But not for my vehicle.

These were a perfect fit for my 2016 Hyundai Elantra Limited. There is no tool required to install them. You most likely have existing holes (my car did) that they screw into. Just tighten them by hand and wrap the net loop around them. It took a little force to get the net onto the hooks but a very easy install. It took about two minutes.
