The wireless 2.4 GHz Wireless+ hand controller ensures more freedom of movement when battling on the racetrack. Its light construction is an advantage during wild chases, as the hands are not confronted with unnecessary weight and so the whole concentration can be directed to the right movements for steering the slot car. Whether you are at a short distance from the racetrack or your track is so big that you lose sight of your speedster during the race in loops or steep curves – the connection remains stable. The battery therefore lasts for up to 8 hours of gaming time in continuous operation. In addition to the 2.4 GHz Wireless+ Speed Controller, this product also includes an exchange button, the lithium polymer battery and operating instructions (may not be in English).

Gotta say......I was a little nervous when I saw a few reviews noting poor build quality with lane change button. After one month of moderate use, Ive had no issues. IF this should change I will update my review but so far so good!

I have purchased 8 of these and 4 have broken with light use in just 4 weeks. Use 1 - 3 times per week for 20 to 30 minutes. They are manufactured with cheap components and are designed to fail. The button on the hand grip is the fail point. When it breaks the car can no longer change lanes or constantly changes lanes and if you have the pitstop it requires this button to work to fuel the cars. Tapping the button repeatedly is how you fuel up the car while in the pit and considering the cheap quality accelerates the chance of failure. See pictures I uploaded and you can see the poor design and the hair thin metal part that breaks. Very disappointed co suffering how much I have invested in Carrera Track and cars. ($3000)
