I paid for a plant that arrived with one broken leaf, and 2 leaves remaining. I contacted seller with pictures, asking why the plant I received looks so different than the photo that they advertise. They respond back, not acknowledging the fact that they sent me a subpar product. Beware.

I love this plant, unfortunately, it hasn’t been the low-maintenance houseplant I had hoped for. Shortly after arrival, a huge spider mite infestation surfaced. I’ve been routinely wiping them away but they always come back. I just took a chance, removed and threw away all the dirt, literally scrubbed and bathed my plants in a tub full of soapy, lukewarm water, rinsed & repotted. I scrubbed away so many mites, I’m hoping if any mites remain, they’re drowned & dead.In the future, I would consider another seller first, or if I were to buy from hirt’s again, I’d be prepared for infestation problems.

The plant had damaged leaves when it arrived. I contacted the seller to be told that there was nothing wrong with the plant. Since then one of the major leaves has yellowed and died.

Amazing. I couldn't find this plant in local stores, so I went online. I had no idea you could have a live plant shipped to you! Looks great.

I had an Aspidistra plant years ago but haven't been able to find one until now. My plant is stunning, healthy, and large. She has tons of new leaves growing and hopefully she will flower for me. I had one years ago that sent out blue flowers through the dirt ( I asked a florist friend of mine what they were and she said they were flowers). Hirt's plants are amazing. I ordered two other plants previous to this one and they are so beautiful. Love Hirt's and love their plants.
