There are no loops to secure the "cone" to the dogs collar so on the first attempt, she easily got it off. So, I made loops for it, secured it to her collar and overnight, she still got it off - removing her stitches. Thank goodness it did not require another trip to the vet to fix. I did measure and purchased the size required for her neck but it is way too big. She's 12 pounds and it fits my 50 pound boy. Disappointing.

This is a very cute alternative to the cone of shame... I would rather watch a little flower walk around the house than hear my dog bump into everything with the plastic cone. The petals are slightly softer than I was expecting so I'll see if it does prevent my dog from licking her wound. I took away one star because the sizing is inaccurate. I purchased the L, but its a bit too big although my dog has an 11 inch neck circumference. It can still be tightened so I'll keep it since it was urgently needed.

Nice e collar. There are buckles that close the cone and they have velcro adjusters. It makes our puppy look just like a flower. It's so cute and really importantly it's soft. Washes well, too.

My old girl has OCD and will continually lick her leg until she bleeds. We’ve ruled out arthritis and other ailments. She just likes to lick. We have to watch her like a hawk and stop her when she starts. For the times we can’t, we use a cone. We started out using a traditional e-collar but that didn’t seem comfortable enough. We moved on to soft cones, which she does great with. This particular one is adorable. I love that it looks like flower petals. While it’s a bit small around her neck, she is able to wear it by securing just the middle and top velcro tabs. The material of the petals is soft, and inside feels like a soft foam material. Cute and practical.
