This is exactly what I needed! Sadly my cat is smart, so she picks at the corners and has been able to get the corners off fairly easily, so not sticky enough for her. She hasn't picked off the rest, though, and when she just scratches it as intended, it stays on and works great!! Better than her scratching at my door or the sound that tape makes. I'd definitely buy it again.

I have an expensive massage chair that my cat loves to scratch. I have been keeping covers on it but discourages me from using it. I decided to buy his roll to cut and piece on the areas of the chair my cat likes to scratch. I thought it would look tacky but the carpet looks ok on the black chair. Now o am using it more.

Adhesive isn’t strong enough for my 12 & 13 pound cats. But they love the texture.

Love this product. I have 2 MaineCoon kittens which are very big and very busy. I used this sticky backed carpet like protector to cover shelves I mounted on the wall for my kittys to jump, scratch and lay on. I also put it on the top/side edges of my stacked washer/dryer and our very tall entertainment center where they love to try and jump up. It gives them something to grip to and pull themselves up instead of crashing down desperately clawing for something to grab onto.I bought one roll and found it's useful for so many other things that I later ordered 3 more rolls. It stays where you put it and peels off fabric surfaces easily. On hard surfaces like metal and wood it sticks like strong glue but can still be removed if needed.

It’s ok. Definitely not as great as advertised. I am using it on the top of the back of the couch where the cats like to sleep because gravity is helping to keep it in place.Cons• thick and durable• easy to cut to size• cat likes to claw it• easy to remove• didn’t leave residue on my couchCon• it doesn’t stick well to my couch; maybe it would stick better to other surfaces• doesn’t stay in position if you need it to bend

I placed the fabric on my couch today. My cat has used the end of the couch frame as a scratching post and finally put a hole in it. It wasn’t even two hours and I noticed the fabric wasn’t sticking to the couch even though I pressed and pressed to put it in place. Great idea-but not sticky enough to be useful.

The material didn't cling well to the base and kept coming loose. However the glue stuck to the cat's claws and came loose, breaking away and clung to her claws. I had to pull bits of the material off of her claws.This is a choaking/ digestive track danger.
