Very sturdy even with both of my rambunctious kittens are climbing it at the same time. My kitten even sits on the top and it’s sturdy. Very easy to put together and my kittens love this so much and use it daily, they love it.

We have a Ragdoll cat, she is 1-1/2 yrs. Old she's very energetic and this scratching post is just what she needed. She uses it a lot through out the day and it's sturdy enough to hold her weight when she climbs up it. Great purchase.

I got this so my one cat with claws would stop scratching my bedroom door frames. It took about 3 to 4 weeks for her to start using it. It also took me taking her to it and making scratching motions with her. The base is a little awkward for her as she wouldn't stand on it. Instead she stays off the base and scratches. She doesn't like the leaves at the top. At first they scared her so I tied them together at the top. I love the thickness and height of this scratching post, it's very sturdy. Much sturdier than others with a smaller post. Very easy to assemble and good value for money. Had thought if I put 2 of them together and secured them then maybe my cat would stand on the base.

They're cactus finally died. One of my disabled cats really loved it, so I got this one to replace it. My kitten can't get enough! The one disabled cat is starting to accept the replacement of old favorite. Sturdy, cute, and easy to assemble. The pride really likes it!

It's very cute but useful. My cats love it. Also very sturdy and thicker than my other palm tree scratching post so it does not fall over.
