It's rather difficult to mount a heavy Firestik antenna on a Toyota Tacoma. There aren't very many feasible mounts available for the newer model Tacomas. This is because of the composite bed and lack of flat surface to mount to. The front side of the bed is corrugated metal, and the sides have a slant, making a mirror mount unfeasible, the composite bed liner prevents you from using a stake hole mount. The only other mount I found available is for a Freightliner 18 wheeler and it would be in the way using the bed for cargo. This mount is a perfect solution and strong enough to mount a heavy firestik with a spring.

Very Sturdy! Great mount for the Diamond Super Gainer 40” antenna. No movement or wiggle of the bracket at 85+ MPH or off road.

This is an OUTSTANDING mount. I have this bracket supporting a short and long dual band amateur radio antenna on a 2017 Tacoma. When I say solid, I mean SOLID. EXTREMELY high quality and very simple install. Be careful with the screws, they shear easily if you over tighten. No brute force needed.One more thing……NOT MADE IN china. Support an American company that takes pride in their work and their country. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The mount is perfect for the Gen 3 Tacoma. I used it to mount a NMO antenna in conjunction with a GMRS radio. The cable I used (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1BPB6NB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) mounted perfectly.
