Combined with an FT240-43 ferrite core, the RG58 cable on this wire with the 90 degree turn made for a perfect RF choke on my hamstick dipole. Should work great on my vertical as well. Was easy to wrap, adequately flexible, and the plugs are on good and tight.

The CB Coax Cable 10ft (3m) RG58 UHF Male to Right Angle Male PL259 Coaxial Cable Low Loss CB Antenna Cable for CB Radio, HAM Radio, Antenna Analyzer, SWR Meter is a convenient and handy length of coax for many needs. I am a ham radio operator and needed a length of cable for my HT radio in my house to connect to an external antenna. The outdoor length is RG8/U and I was using a 10' length of RG174 inside the house. However, I was not transmitting enough signal over the RG174. I picked up this length of cable and checked it out. It tested good with a couple pieces of test equipment and looks to be well made. The right angle connector is handy for where the fixed connector comes through the wall and keeps the coax from protruding too far into the room. As soon as I tried the new cable on weekly nets I received much improved signal reports from my fellow hams and they were enthusiastic about how much better I sounded. I am pleased with this coax and the quality and serviceability it provides.

Overall this is a good cable, I'm using it to connect an antenna from a mobile-mounted ham radio where the back of the unit has tight clearance.These right angle connectors seem slightly more lossy than their straight counterparts, but I suppose that is to be expected. it's not significant at UHF/VHF frequencies, but might be worse at higher frequencies.Overall a decent cable, fairly unremarkable. I'm removing one star because there's no specs on the cable itself, or a spec sheet included.

I'm using it for my antenna analyzer - the right-angle connector on one end means I can leave it connected to the analyzer, and it will still fit into the case (no stiff cable coming out perpendicular to the side of the analyzer). Just the right length, too. Quality and price-wise, seems well-made and fairly priced - nothing to complain about. A great choice for folks like me who are too lazy to make their own (and frankly, for less than $15, the price is about what I'd end up paying in parts and materials).
