These are heavy duty but I wish they weren't so long.Would also be nice if they were more like bowls where they can nest together and stack easier. The way they are manufactured the sides are kind of vertical so they can be kind of easy to tip and knock over.A good product, could be great with some tweaking.

This set of four side dishes are a soft off-white color. Not dark enough to be ivory, but not bright enough to be a true white. Personally, I really like the color as it goes with just about anything and isn't glaringly or too stark. There was a very small glaze ripple in the bottom of one dish, but it's barely noticeable. I thought these would be off-balance because of the tiny foot, but they sit on the table without wobbling or tipping, even when you're dipping into them with bread or a fork.Unless you have really small corn, I don't think these are going to be useful for corn on the cob. Nice ides, but they are just a little too narrow and the wrong shape. Still, they can be used for lots of other things such as salsas, marinated olives, dips, etc. Maybe even banana splits if you get the craving. But not corn. They will probably be most useful for people who serve a lot of dips or marinated things at parties.
