If you have an 85-86 ATC250R or an 86-87 TRX250R and are trying to stay as close to OEM as possible without paying NOS prices, then this is the buffer for you! It's almost an exact replica of the factory piece, even down to the original Honda dark green color!To address some of the negative comments... This is not for the 88-89 TRX250R. They utilize a slightly different buffer design. For the idiotic comment on color... The OEM part was GREEN! If you want black then buy a different aftermarket version!

Will not fit for 88-89,88-89 chain sliders are bulkier than 86-87

Purchased this for my "1989 TRX250R" and it does NOT fit. It is about 2" too short from front to back...
