It's a little smaller than it looks but it's large enough for me to handle. It is BEAUTIFUL and holds enough wine for a glass.

This is a nice heavy piece with nice design and appearance for the price point. There are three parts solder together to make it. This is fine, what is less so is the visible solder around the solder points. If that were not present, it would be five stars. Also note that the solder is not as strong as I'd like, as the first one I received was snapped in half in the package, which was not damaged. Overall, I am happy with this and think it is a good deal at the price point offered.

It is nice to have a Eucharist chalice which is always bacteria free because of the silver, and of course rinsing in water. Since worshipping Jesus is the most valuable part of my life I wanted a nice chalice to use.

I have no idea what it’s really made of but it’s heavy and solid. It conducts the cold really well. I doubt it’s actually gold and silver plated but it could be only time will tell. Or if I had a test kit. I am happy with the quality for the price and would recommend to others looking for a seemingly quality ornate chalice. It does not impart any flavor to the wine that I can tell.Also the box it comes in is well presented and wrapped nicely.
