The leather is good enough, but the color in the photo is nowhere close. Granted the description does say red and that is more accurate. It is red and not the mahogany red shown that I was looking for.

The leather tie broke as soon as I put it on the saddle. The holes also did not go up high enough to work with the correct cinch size for my horse. If you buy this, buy extra leather string (or don't use it) and buy a hole punch too.
