Our house is a bit older, so we're slowly replacing the random ugly light fixtures with more modern things. This is a very similar style to solve light fixtures I got at IKEA so I thought it would work well in our house. Installation was fine and it works as expected!

This light is very well made and easy to assemble. Installation was the same as any other ceiling mounted fixture I’ve installed and it turned out awesome! It puts out good light, looks classy, and has a beautiful silver finish! It fits our dining room way better than the old round one we had. There are many different options for length, it can hang from 2.5 feet low all the way up to just a couple inches from the ceiling. Ours is about 1.5 feet of pole between the lamp and ceiling and it works well for our older low ceiling house. This fixture is comparable to any light you would buy at the store, very well made!

We ordered this because we liked the clean, modern design, and it looks great over our dining room table. The light comes nicely packaged, with everything wrapped and padded with styrofoam. Assembly took about 10 minutes, and installation would have been a breeze except I had to substitute the mounting screws for longer ones, since my ceiling junction box is just slightly recessed. The light comes with several hanger rods which you can combine to get a wide variety of lengths to suit your preferred mounting height - we chose a combo of one long/one short on each side, and you can't really see the "seam" where the rods screw together. The power and ground wires need to be snaked through the hanger rods, which is a little tricky because it's a tight fit, but it's a good design because you don't see the wires like you do with fixtures that hang with chains. It doesn't come with bulbs so we just used standard shaped LEDs (see photo) but I just ordered some Edison shaped LEDs to see if they look nice. I love this light fixture! Really updated the look of my kitchen. Super easy to install. I definitely need to get Edison bulbs for it. Great quality!

I put this over a medium sized dining room table (72" long) and it provides great lighting coverage. The frame itself is almost 40" wide so this would not work well over a small or square dining table. The industrial / farmhouse look fits my dining room decor perfectly.It was easy to take out my old dining table light and put this one up in the existing electrical box. (Turn off the breaker, not just the light switch.) It comes with bars that allow the height to be adjustable down to approximately 56" from the ceiling to the bottom of the light frame. It weighs about 15 pounds so you should get help while hanging it. Also, I recommend *not* putting the glass shades up until you have the light hung and tested; that will reduce the possibility you might break one of the glass shades.I am using 8 watt LED Edison style bulbs (each bulb puts out the equivalent of 75 watts of incandescent light). I do have it on a smart dimmer and usually don't keep it at full brightness. The documentation does not say if it is dimmable or not, but it works fine for me on a dimmer.

I was thrilled to open this package and discover how incredible this lighting fixture is. It's lightweight yet durable and includes everything except bulbs. You have the option of attaching it directly to the ceiling or hanging it from a bar to give the light some distance.
