I inherited my neighbor's Charbroil grill. Eventually flavorizors panels rotted and burner tubes rotted.I initially had my doubts because these were smaller diameter tubes. But these installed relatively easy.In fact, the hard part was removing the old tubes. These tubes emit the flame vertically and that has worked out better than the old tubes. The only question? How long will they last?Wish somebody would make Iconel tubes.

I received the replacement burners just in time for the holiday weekend. Installed and tested the burners and they fit perfectly . They work great. My 5 year old Char-Broil grill work like it did when it was new. I save $75 on this item compared to the big box stores. Well worth it.

Positive:it will adjust to basically any gas grill. Negative: burner holes are only on top,not on each side to give more of ever Heating. Would buy again only if I had no choice.

The lower BTU output was a bit of a surprise but it's possible I failed to read the technical information carefully enough before buying it. It takes the new units a bit longer to heat up but for the kind of grilling i do, it's adequate. If I required powerful heat for searing steaks, for example, these burners are unlikely to be up to the task.

It fit my Cuisinart Deluxe Four-Burner Propane Gas Grill (the one with the viewing window). It was easy to install and they get put out a lot of heat. I bought it used from the amazon warehouse and it was missing the angled brackets, but I was able to get them up and running without them.

The hole to mount the carryover tube was about an inch from where the carryover tube was so I had to drill and tap an 8mm thread where the tapped thread should have been (and I then had to put a short 8mm screw in to block off the now unneeded 8mm hole (for the carryover attachment) that was otherwise left open).Also the back end of the tube doesn’t attach to the back of the grill like it should. The cross-shaped hole in the tube is 7mm too short so I had to drill it out towards the back.Doesn’t sound like much but then you have to do it on every other tube you’re replacing.Since I have a Char-Broil grill and this had the same maker, I thought their “universal” kit would be better. It does work now and the parts appear to be strong.
