I’m planning to use an old iPhone 6s as a dedicated still and video camera. Before buying, I asked and didn’t get any coherent responses, but for $25 I bought anyway and took my chances.As you can see in the photo above, it does indeed have an old analog 3.5mm earphone jack.Everything else is as advertised. The case slips on easily, charges quickly, and charges to phone as often as necessary. When it’s plugged into the charging cable, the iPhone charges first, then the battery in the case.This should give new life to this old device. Thanks!

Update: This charging case started to give me some trouble after a few weeks (tricky to connect to charging cable) but thought I could work with that. Then there were issues with it not charging the phone consistently. Now it wouldn't charge the phone at all! From other reviews I thought the company would be good to deal with. Should have asked for refund before the 30 days.

Good quality, works as it should. Only complaint is that it makes your phone pretty hefty, but that's the tradeoff for more battery life.

Too many issues even when it did work. No wireless charging. Charging the phone through the battery is slower than charging it directly. Too many times I had to take the battery case off just to charge the phone and the charger faster. Many times long pressing the button does not charge the phone. Had to take the case off and put it back on again. I also have a sneaky suspicion that it reverse charges from the phone. Hard to tell on that one. But the fact that the phone charges slower is easy to prove - measure the time to go from 60 to 70 percent with the case on and off using the same cable.

Easy to use, and holds a good charge when it works.However like most of these phone case chargers, it lasts about 4-6 months and then just stops working for no discernible reason. Quote frustrating...

First off I didn’t even notice that it comes with a glass screen protector. I’d been hemming and hawing over buying one so I was VERY happy to find it when opening this up. The phone I’m using this with is my old iPhone that I now use only for music. I’ve only had the battery case for a few days but I’ve already used it to recharge a few times (without having to recharge the battery case) and it’s so convenient. Since I do only use it for music a lot of the time I pick it up and it’s completely dead since I haven’t used it in a few days. The case always being on means I can easily start charging when I notice it’s below 50% so it never gets super low. And I LOVE that I can use wired lightning earbuds with the case- I still haven’t caved and bought AirPods and now I don’t have to!
