In Line Regulator with Pressure-Sensing Shut Off
A Chef Master Butane Stove is equipped with an In-Line Regulator. When the pressure of the burner gets to high, flash backs can occur, this is solved by designing the stoves with a pressure-sensing shut off valve to cut off the pressure before flashbacks and injuries occur.
Easy to Dismantle for Cleaning
The Chef Master Portable Camping Stove is super easy to clean. Simply remove the plate from the top of the burner and then you can clean it! Leaving bits of old food and other gunk in your burner can be very dangerous so it is advised to clean the stove after every use.

The stove will only light when you turn the knob far enough. You must turn it PAST the point of resistance at 7pm. Ensure you turn it far enough to make it click loudly.

Chef Master Butane Stove Lighting Instructions
Ensure you turn the knob PAST the first point of resistance, to make it click. Turn past 7 o'clock towards 6 o'clock.
Did it light once and not again? Simply push the red reset button. The try again.
Please contact the seller if you encounter any problems with lighting the stove. 99% of the time the issue with lighting is user error, where the user is not turning the knob far enough

A little more money than others, but this one cranks out more heat. Plus it has a wind guard, small, but it does help a bit. Buy it!

15000 BTU is perfect for my camping cooking needs, whether it's boiling water or heating some food in a pan it works great! The only reason why I gave a 4 star was due to price point being a little high, no problems with ignition either as some have mentioned.Would recommend

I have purchased and used numerous Gasone and Iwatani stoves similar to this Chef Master. This stove is so much hotter that I almost burnt my first meal with it. My main gripe is that the cannister locking mechanism is not very smooth but seems to work fine.

I changed to 5 stars after learning that it was my mistake for not aligning the collar notch of the gas can with the valve top. Now I love everything about the stove just like my first impression. It has double wind guards, 15000 BTU, balance of weight to durability, and the thoughtful design of the top part where the flame meets the pot. Bye bye Coleman propane stove.

We love this burner but it did take us a while to figure out how to start the stove. We did not see anywhere in the instructions that there is a black button underneath the butane can that has to be pushed to light the burner. Digging around, we found it and tried it but it was not mentioned in the instructions, at least to our understanding. Otherwise, it is wonderful, light, efficient and it works.

I purchased this 15,000 BTU model to use for wok cooking as well as for high-heat searing the surface of sous vide steaks. It functions extremely well for both of those tasks, quickly heating pans to the "screaming hot" temperatures required for certain types of specialized cooking. It's also quite easy to use. From insertion of the butane cartridge, to lighting the burner, to ease of clean up, each task is a breeze.The burner is also quite lightweight and very portable. That's a positive benefit most of the time, however it does mean you shouldn't make vigorous shaking/tossing movements with a wok or you'll risk moving the burner, too. But using it with care is a small price to pay for the high output flame generated from this stove top.The only downside I've encountered is the "hard carrying case" that's included with the burner. "Hard" is not a word I would use to describe the flimsy plastic sheath-like thing that surrounded the stove when I opened the package. If the plastic used was any thinner, it would be translucent, and the tiny plastic hinges are laughable. Honestly, the case is an absolute joke ... a bad joke. A very bad joke.One more thing: Before I purchased this Chef Master 90019 15,000 BTU portable stove I asked other purchasers if non-Chef Master butane refills could be used. (I live in an area where butane canisters can't be shipped to individuals, and Chef Master brand items are not available in my state.) Although I didn't receive a satisfactory answer to my question at that time, I can provide the definitive answer now. Yes, other brands of 8 ounce butane canisters absolutely do work with this stove. I've used 8 ounce notched Sterno brand butane canisters as well as Coleman branded ones, and both brands are compatible with this stove.
