Great apron. I was looking for a simple apron. No snaps, no X crossed straps in the back. Not made out of leather or or carbon fiber or copper weave Just wanted solid quality and a simple apron with a waist tie strap. This is a solid choice if you're looking for the same.

I was impressed with the look and quality of this apron. I purchased it for my 68 year old fathers birthday and he loved it! The denim look is masculine but it’s cotton so it’s not stiff. I like the long ties, my dad has arthritis so being able to wrap it around the front to tie and untie was important. Durability remains to be seen, he will mainly be using it for cooking and possibly gardening so I think it’ll hold up well under that type of use. Overall it’s a great value.

Finally, a functional apron that is not overly frilly. When I'm in the kitchen, I get to WORK! Just like a scientist needs their lab coat, a chef needs a proper apron when working in the kitchen-lab. That means I want something functional with clean lines and solid color, sensibly placed pockets, adjustable straps and yes, a touch of style. This apron meets all of those requirements, however I will caveat that the photos all depict pictures of men in the apron and that is who this will fit best. As a short petite female, the apron fits large even with straps adjusted to their shortest setting. The body of the apron wraps all the way around me. While it does not get in the way of functionality for me, I do wish it fit just a little better, although I was expecting this when I ordered it.

Looking for a shop apron that ties around the front.I'm 6'3 220lbs: big! Can front tie but without a fullbow- that's OK. The Memphis is a perfect match withthe usual denim woodshop apron.. in length. It falls just below the knees. Hanging by their neck loopsthey are identical lengths……….Like the flat neck strap. Like the lighter, yessofter, thinner material. BUT all belly pockets are not hand accessible. That's a bummer. Also the accessiblepocket stitching creates long corners in pocket bottomswhere small items can migate & get lost.………However, as a comfortable easy to tie apron for anold guy, it's a happy choice, worth the price. $$. While this apron is sold as a Chef's Apron, it looked and sounded like I could use it for my woodshop apron. And I was right!. I have arthritic shoulders so tying the apron behind my back is a problem for me. This apron has nice long ties so it can be tied in front. The neck loop is adjustable so that solved another problem of always having an apron that hung too low. The pockets are large and usable. It is well made and looks to be durable with a soft denim. Last but not least, is is priced right for me.

My husband wanted a shop apron that he could wear while doing carpentry work or completing little fix it chores around the house. I made it my mission to find a great apron as my Valentine's Day gift to him. I searched everywhere for the perfect carpenter's apron, but could not seem to find one of decent quality that had all of the features that he wanted. Although this apron seemed to be marketed as a chef's apron, this turned out to be the best carpenter's apron ever! My husband is thrilled with it! It has a divided pocket at the top to hold pencils and marking tools. It has a second chest pocket that holds a small notebook and 6-inch rule. There is a very large pocket that runs across the front of the apron, and a smaller pocket within the large pocket that is perfect for holding a a cell phone. The apron itself is of very good quality, and is well-made. The denim is neither too heavy nor too light. My husband is 6' tall, and the apron is proportioned just right for him. The lower pocket is high enough to allow him to sit down...even with pockets filled with tools, yet is low enough to be handy and comfortable...not in the middle of his chest or down at his knees. The ties around the neck and waist are wide and plenty long, which makes for a more comfortable fit, especially around the neck, which bears much of weight of the tools. I am extremely happy with this item, and so is my hubby!!

I am a potter and pottery is messy work which requires a good durable apron. This is the BEST apron I have bought to date. The straps are durable and adjustable. The pockets in the front are easily accessible for small tools. Several months into use I have not washed it yet, but it looks like it would hold up in the washing machine or a blast from a garden hose. One requirement for an apron for me is comfort and length. I am 5"7 and the length of the apron goes about to my knees. Very well made and stylish. *Update* it is 2020 and i still use this apron. It stands up to the washing machine, simply hang dry. Love this apron. Not one frayed stitch.

Very nice apron. I am 6' 2", 260 pounds and built like a fat swimmer - all torso and short legs. 42" waist, 50L sports coat.Coverage is great side to side. Pockets are great. It is soft and well built. The ties are long, but not quite long enough. I can wrap them around the front and do a loose double knot without "ears", but they need another foot on each side if I wanted to do a real shoe-style bow knot.Only docking them one star because it's not their fault I ate too much.

My father is a Cobbler (shoe maker) and I bought this for him so that he can stay clean at work. It looks great and really adds to the look he is going for. The material is sturdy and the pockets are perfect for tools and pencils.
