These are good, like the rubber grip. They are strong and won't flex or bend when using. I like the length for those deep ones. If using for saltwater they need to be rinsed after using or they will rust.

Bought this for fishing but ended up using it to clip off a radial artery after one of the guys in our fishing party severly cut his arm on the prop. Saved more than a fish that day. Works great for getting books out too.

seemingly a well made tool with one exception, the finger holes are quite small, made even smaller by the foam padding around them. I am not a big guy, nor do I have really large hands, but I found this tool hard to use because it was difficult to get my thumb and finger securely in the finger holes, so I ended up with a unstable grip on the tool using just my finger tips. Save yourself some aggravation and look at the Umpqua hemostat tools, same length as this one, but much easier to use finger holes.

The rubber grub makes a huge positive difference on this product. Used for careful smallmouth hook removal when hook is deep. Highly recommended.
