We had a storm that scratched up my wifes car and this rotary polisher took out those scratches with no problems.

First thing First, I have been mainly detailing boats for over 10 years now. I have owned quite of few rotary polishers throughout those years. As you can see from the picture above I have to Torq are right next to the flex pe14 which is a beast of a machine.WHAT I LIKE OF THE TORQ R: GOOD PRICE,quiet & smooth,light weight, feels great on your hands,easy to maneuver, you can accomplish fantastic results just like with the flex or any other quality rotary polisher out there, it's got plenty of power for the size and taking in consideration only a 900 watt motorWHAT I DIDN'T LIKE OF THE TORQ R: it gets pretty warm, sometimes while in motion you can accidentally speed up or down on the buttons with your hands, takes time to get use to it, you loose a little bit of power when applying pressure but not significantly ( you can always speed it up)OVERALL I THINN IS A GOOD TOOL I'LL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TOOL TO ANYONE.

I am a professional detailer almost twenty years. I primarily focus on the marine industry. After less then two months. The speed increase button started acting up. The units body heats up quickly if you are putting it under torq stress. It also cannot keep up to speed when applying some pressure. It is very light and comfortable. But not intended for prolonged, professional use. It's been over a month and I still have not recieved the buffer back. I have liked everything I have used from Chemical guys. Just really let down with this experience. Especially at the cost of this unit. If a circular buffer is your primary tool. I would suggest staying with makita, or dewalt.UPDATE: almost two months later I recieve my buffer back from service. With a nice yellow sticky note saying, "nothing wrong with buffer". I guess when I push the power increase button, and nothing happens. Well that is normal!?Do not buy any buffer from Torq! Im a professional and I know good equipment from bad. Also customer service is unacceptable. Chemical Guys was the company that did the service. There product/ chemical side of the house is excellent. But not the Torq side.

Runs good! Power is great. Digital setting is different than a normal buffer, but after some getting used, and adjusting to, I think it does the job well

Bought it almost half off from Amazon warehouse. Good polisher. Not the most powerful on the market, anything about 1200 rpms it boggs down a fair amount if too much pressure is applied or there is too much surface friction. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver. I find the 5 inch backing plate and pads to be the best. I'll still stick to my dwalt or mikta for the big heavy buffing jobs as those have about 2 or 3 times the amount of power this does. In comparison, I'd say this is a bit more powerful then the chicago electric buffer at harbor freight. Both are very similar. This torq lowest speed is 600 rpm. It is a good buffer just don't expect the crazy power we get from a mikata or dwalt.The electric display is good. Goes to 600 rpm, to 900, to 1200, to 1500, 1800, 2100 and 2400 rpms.Very smooth and quiet machine. It's enjoyable to use. Overall 7.5-8/10I would recommend this.

My order arrived late and I wasnt happy but after I got it in yesterday, I was happy and it was worth the wait.I do alot of automotive painting and this polisher is amazing! Love it. Very smooth and feels very comfortable.
