These waders are marketed as fly fishing or hunting waders and indeed they can be used for those purposes. I believe they were probably designed for commercial or farming purposes originally. The come with long sleeve gloves that I use for chemical applications. The waders themselves are ok and have not leaked. Mobility is not the best but is ok. Overall, for the price, they will keep you dry but the serious trout fisherman will want to spend more.

This product arrived damaged, but we only opened it 5 weeks after receipt as it was for a special project. Upon opening we discovered the seam was not properly fabricated and would leak so cannot be used for any purpose, and cannot be returned. Recommend you don't buy this product, poorly made, no warranty.

I got these as I live on a large, slow-moving river in north eastern washington and I need to clean out milfoil or other debris that gets caught on my pontoon dock.While they are waterproof; I've gone up above navel level but not up to chest in the water, it's actually awkard to move around with these. They're heavy and don't flex like I would have expected. I do use them for my purposes, but I definitely wouldn't use these fishing.
